Question What's Different On The NPP Exhaust Between SS Trim Levels?

I'm in the market for NPP Exhaust takeoffs from any C5 member. I'm not sure if all v8 trim levels (SS, ZL1, Z/28) are even compatible with my 2LT, or if they give various results. I've read that they all have different pipe sizes and associated x-pipes/h-pipes/resonators.

Does anyone know definitively what each trim level comes with? Does it matter if I get the axleback vs the catback?

Thanks!

I've got the NPP on my SS and happy as hell with it. Not sure what it would sound like on a V6. When I had my V6 I ran quad exhaust and MRT version 2. About the best sound you can get

There is no Difference, besides the sizes, I wouldn't try and put a v8 exhaust on the v6 car

I know that the v6 can come with NPP exhaust from factory, and I've never heard of anyone not being happy with it on their v6. The lower cost of retrofitting NPP as compared to getting MRT v1/2 + quad pipes is attractive, along with there being no negative feedback about the factory system.

Why not?

Eventually something won't fit together, nothing an exhaust shop couldn't take care of though. People are putting 3" exhaust on their V8 cars that is un- necessary so I don't see a prob with running 2 1/2" on a V6.

Catback or axleback, one system costs more but neither will make your car faster.

Why not?
NPP was not an option on any 5thgen V6s

I know what to expect from exhaust in terms of performance gains (nothing). My question of catback vs axleback was just in regards to whether or not I'm "missing out" on any components if I just get the axleback?

You can still build MY15 on Chevy.com, so 15 for sure but I think it was MY14 as well.

Live & Learn ! I see where NPP was offered on the '13-'15 LT models with manual trans. I've never seen one. I thought it was just a SS option.

It was available for the manual transmission only.
