I've said this many times and the fanboys get mad at me but I speak the truth.
5th gen shared with the CTS, that's a BIG BIG savings, 5th gen was a cash cow for GM

Now the 6th gen, shared AGAIN, these cars should be wayyyy cheaper and much cheaper than the mustang.

As others have said, i would have gone for the 6th gen but the price i got on my '15 was way too good. for a fully-loaded 2016 2SS i would have paid ~$8-10K more.

The design is growing on me, i also would have liked having the Apple Car Play since MyLink is awful.

There's still 2 weeks before it's "officially" spring and there's still snow in a lot of places. I've yet to see one in person around here.. It's way too early to be concerned about sales.

That said, the release of the 5th gen had so many factors going for it. Expecting the 6th gen to do as well as the 5th gen is a little unrealistic IMO.

Gotta tell you, seats are non-existent in the rear. The success of the 6th gen depends on the 4cyl IMO. Cheap price for a good RWD turbo is the best aspect. V8 versions are just to pricy.

Wow...I have yet to price one.....thats kinda steep. I traded my '06 GTO and 22k for my brand spankin new fully loaded 2010 2SS/RS. If I'm going to spend that kind of cash.....might as well go for a Vette, Benz or Beemer.

I like the rear end on that. The front end still needs work, imo. That huge grille tho, hope they don't leave it like that... you've got Hyundai and Scion doing the 'wide mouth' thing too...

I wouldn't mind having a gen6 in a few years. The car came out in November so sales will start off sluggish I know pre orders started way before that. Just wait till it warms up and see where it goes, I'm not concerned about it. Lots of people have reasons why they are not buying it just yet.

Price for me, they are awesome, in my opinion. Just drive one and see.

But I have a problem spending $4k more for what I got in 2013. I have no argument that you get a lot more, but still is right at my threshold.

May try to wait for the 17s, may not be cheaper, but I may give in to temptation by then.

For me I like the weight loss and performance, but the cost is the killer. Maybe if they also go 20% off in the future? I am also waiting to see how the GDI works out. It is a disaster on many cars.

It looks wrong because it IS wrong.
Couple that with a rear quarter shoulder line that is too low and all you get is an f'ed up aesthetic.

Zeta, shared with the caprice and Holden's
Big savings when you share with other vehicles.
