How do you guys pull onto ramps... ?

I'm trying to pull onto rhino ramps to do my headers and the ramps just keep sliding out from under my tires. No matter how slow or quick I try going. And my jack doesn't get the car high enough to just lift it onto the ramps.

Any suggestions? Hopefully the headers go easier than getting the damn car in the air....

Are your tires hitting the ramps or your bumper. With my ramps, I have to drive onto a 2"x6" board and then the ramps so my bumper doesn't hit the ramps. If that's not the case then maybe try to block the ramps with something so they don't slide.

I have Rhino ramps as well and what helped was when I did my ground effects I removed that weird flap that hangs off the bottom because it made contact with the ramp causing it to move forward. When it came time to do the headers I had no issue.

Nothing on the body was hitting. They were just sliding when I got about half way up. So I put a drop cloth under the ramps and voila, no more sliding. I am now up on the ramps. Thanks guys!

Lmao if you can manage to remove the cats from the stock headers it might make it easier if not it's either cutting or getting a jack with a 24" extension lol.

Not too difficult as long as you take your time. FYI auto parts stores rent torque wrenches so you can torque the bolts to 10 ft/lbs and then 18 ft/lbs starting at the center and working your way out.

OP, let me know how it works when you pull off of the ramps. I've always been scared to go up on the front end with them because of how badly they slip out from under the rear end when coming down.

I bought a cheap roll of rubber cabinet liner and cut it to fit under the ramps. Keeps em from sliding out.

Wasn't that a tight fit to put headers on?
