Fair price for 2015 2LT Convertible - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have the possibility of getting about $7K off a new 2015 2LT convertible that lists close to $41K. Does that seem like a good deal?

I had been thinking of getting a 2016 1LT convertible, but I'm guessing it will cost me several thousand more than the 2015 2LT.

Need a little more info; KBB lists new 2015 2LT convertibles (manual, non RS) at somewhere between $32K & $35K. Depending on options (auto, RS package, other trim packages), the price will vary. As with buying any vehicle, the best thing to do is check KBB and or NADA, as well as local and other sources. Good luck

IMO 20% or more off on a brand new vehicle is a pretty good price. It is a model year old but also brand new. 32,800 or below is a pretty good deal, that would be 8,200 off. 10k off would be very good. I paid 35,200 for a new 2015 2SS/RS that stickered for 42k in January. That was about 16% off. I wish I could have done better but I wanted the car and they gave me a very good price on my trade in.

Last June I paid $28k for mine new.

Fair is subjective; Is the car everything that you want, in terms of trim, color, and options? If so, then any price within your budget is a fair price.

If you're compromising on options that you plan on doing later, then you should offset the cost of those options from your budget if you're going to settle for anything less.

With all the problems that the 2011 and 2012 convertibles had, I would definitely stay away from the 6th gen verts for at least the first year they are out.
