Thats my dream car, if only it was a manual and I had not spent so much at Camaro Fest. I might still have to find a way to come up with the money.

Yes it is. I get lots of people asking me why it is different then most camaros. I Took the door emblems off and mounted new ones on magnets that is why the two pictures of the sides are different. I put them on now and then.

How did you determine the # (#77)? I have one as well and asked Chevy and they couldn't tell me.

Yours looks great by the way. I ordered mine without the decals on the side as I like the clean look as well - gave them to me in a box - lol

Thanks - wonder if it is the last three numbers - those are the only ones that would make sense (060 on mine). Good luck on the sale

VIN has nothing to do with the car number. Actually none of the non-festival cars were numbered.

Here is what IRISHTOOLMAN found on the Pace cars- There were three official track duty cars with the strobe lights that all had painted stripes and decals. After that the rest were replicas or whatever you choose to call them. There were 294 cars striped with vinyl stripes and door decals. Of this 50 went to Indy for the race festivities which become festival cars and later get sold off through Chevy dealers with various amounts of mileage depending on how much use they got in May. Most had their Indy paperwork and credentials in the glove box when they got sent to the dealers. There were 45 cars prepared for the Canadian market and some of these cars had 6 speed manual transmissions. Still working on getting the exact number of manuals built. One of these Canadian cars went to SLP in New Jersey and was converted into an SLP575.That leaves 199 available for US dealers all automatic transmission cars.

so, here is my other question, was there any sort of paperwork that came with the car- documenting it as a Pace car Replica?
