Fuel system first?
Can I upgrade my fuel system first prior to doing a twin turbo build without any tuning? I wanted to do the AGP kit and twin pump they offer. I am planning on moving to another state and want to hold on to some funds in case. Thinking to knock out the fuel side first, then the system later.
I was also thinking about doing the trap door method for the pump. any guidance there? thanks everyone.

I don't have any FI currently but I can imagine you can upgrade the fuel side first. You have to tune the fuel system to work. You cant throw ID850s or whatever injector in a LS3 and it work 100% correctly. Same goes for the fuel pumps.
My friends Saturn Ion Redline he tried doing that. He put 60lb injectors (stock is 42lbs) in without a tune, it ran and drove but not very well.

When you increase your fuel pressure, you will run rich, so yes, you will need a retune.
Now just how rich you will run I dont know.

Keep money in account, and deal with it later. No point in doing it early, just adding cost/complexity.

Thanks guys. Just eager to get something going toward the twins. I missed the awesome deal on the cast wheel turbos since the decision to move came during the winter. I'll hold off and get everything squared away at once.
