All I can say on this is that I took my car to HP in Katy last year sometime when Josh was their "tooner". Dude beat on my car for two days attempting a speed density tune on my F1X 416 2010. Ended up out like 350.00 when I just called AAA to get my shit out of there. Tow truck driver informed me that I wasn't the first car he picked up from there they couldn't tune. Josh now works at another shop I believe, so I'm not sure who they use to tune now. I sure wont be returning.

The receipt is pictured below with the engine and callies assembly on it but it sure doesn't seem even close to being somewhat new.

Good lifter tray bolt.

Here's my receipt.

He's at D3 now. Definitely not a tuner when you can't even change a rev limiter setting.

Interesting thread no doubt. All I can say is good luck and hope everything is sorted out. On the other hand, thank god I have a handful of reputable tuners/garages here in SA to do my work in the future.

cough, cough "Henderson Performance", cough cough "Lethal Performance", cough cough "Nelson Racing", cough cough...

I must be getting sick...

Also, I have no problem with a company, who has been called out by name, using a "customers" full name also. If we can call them out on their BS by name, I see no problem with them returning the favor.

Not sure if the same guy is there, but one of the best tuners in freakin' Texas was the guy who helped me out at Lethal Performance here in San Antonio TX.

Definitely recommend that shop, they're pretty awesome.

After reading this thread and some others about the problems they faced and potential other problems of this nature.....I think I'm going to leave my car stock.......ain't got the kind of money these types of problems can need.

Truth is, there are a bunch of good high quality shops out there, its just a matter of doing your research.

Horsepower will always find the weakest link, if your too scared that you will break something, you shouldn't mod your car.

I don't think "scared" is the right word for it. More to the point, who needs the heartburn from these kinds of problems?
