5 hunderd dollars is not a bad price at all for headers installed.. is the install cheaper on the V6

For what it's worth, on the Silverado I traded to get my Camaro, I tried 3 different shops to install a set of LTs. They would not even discuss it. Said they could not even order the parts in CA, so I went with the best ST headers I could find. Next smog check, they refused to test my truck because they could not find the CARB sticker with the number that says it's CA legal. I had to go point it out to them. Same thing the day I bought my Camaro. The Used car mgr. could not find the header or K&N CAI stickers. Same thing, he was not going to buy it until I pointed out the stickers. Good luck with yours though.

I have long tubes in so cal... Been a good 5 years with them...

Cunningham motorsports is the place to go for install and tune to the op. I would just make sure you have all the other bolt ons before you pay for the tune.

i got my LT's high, flow cats, and exhaust system installed at a local shop (pm if you want number i live in upland ca) he did a great job and only charged me 300 for the whole thing. however i do believe he underbid me as the whole install took about 6-8 hours and he quoted me labor for 4-5. he held up his price so i gave him a extra 50 bucks and he agreed to let me bring it back in a couple weeks later to double check all bolts and do a smoke test on the system to ensure it was leak free.

You have to be able to find a shop willing to look the other way when it comes to smog. Im not worried about any dealerships since Im keeping the car.
