Woah! Sounds like No downpayment.

On my 14' SS I put $10k, 72m finance, put me at $450.

But sold it on a pre-trade, got $6k equity plus I'll be putting down another $10k, estimating my 16' 2SS to be around $550 monthly.

There is no way I can make a decision without knowing prices. That being said, I am fairly sure we will sit tight where we are. I do love our car.

Don't do auto's so nothing there with the 10 speed auto. Car weighs less, mostly because it is smaller with useless rear seats, and trunk space. Less menacing looks. I do hope they find the non Camaro owner buyer. A lot of current Z owners are ho hum on the release.

Could it be some are in Gen6 denial?

The new ZL1 looks much more evil than the old ones. & who cares about rear seats? They hold grocery bags just as good as 5thgens lol

I know it's all opinions though. Like the rear wing, in my opinion it looks great. I'm kinda sick of the "Blades" from last gen.

I'm loving the direction GM went with Camaro Six!

No I just don't like it. It does not look evil, it looks like they farmed out the exterior to Kia.

Look at it this way. I love the 2nd gen Corvette, and don't like the 3rd, 4th ,5th, but the 6th is cool, and the 7th is very cool. If you like it thats great and I can respect that. Personaly I think the car is going in the wrong direction. I am not the only one who feels like this among th current ZL1 owners.

I would spring for a 5th Z28 though. Stripped basic and badass, that is more what I like in a car than gadgets, useless lighting , heated steering wheels and unneeded complexities.

Ya, Z28 sounds like a nice upgrade path if you got bored, that way you can stay within the Zeta platform.

I love the gadgets & actually owned a Turbo charged Kia Optima when they 1st came out lol, got bored of it after 3 years & got a 5th gen 2SSRS. So I guess that explains some of my excitement for the Kia+Camaro blend lol haha

I was also hoping that they would reel in some new owners to the club but with the price is gonna be high and only a slight bump in power...I agree with you and hope they find the non Camaro owner buyer...which isn't me...or most on this forum...
