2015 Camaro LS Coupe Transformation Information

Hey Guys,

I have a "subject listed" and want to move over to a v8! Whats the best way to do this. I saw an engine on Ebay for 8k for my camaro and it fits. But im not much of a mechanic to know how or what i need. Has anybody tried doing this or am i looking at the impossible?

you are looking to do a motor swap... it will be well over 10 grand to do this..your car is a 15 why did you just not buy a ss in the first place.. i was just talking about this

By the time it is all set and done, you are much better off trading your LS for an SS.
But like ELIC said, your car is a 2015. If you have 8k more to spend, why not buy an SS?

Op, your best bet to move into a v8 without losing your shirt. Would be to find a v8 guy that wants to trade you.

If not, seems like a bad case of buyer remorse.

You might as well think of maybe taking the v6, selling it and droping in a built/custom motor.

Then don't. If you've got the money to spend I would say screw the V8 and buy an FI option. KPE just relisted the IPF kits for the V6. Much more fun to beat an unsuspecting V8 in a sleeper V6
