DIY Eagle Eye Dual Halo Retrofit - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Alright, today i did the retrofit on my Eagle eye headlights. I search the forums and found very little information on these headlights and halo ring sizes or even retrofit ideas. I took a shot in the dark on the ring sizes and it worked out perfect. Cheap alternative to OEM RS headlight and add your own style. you can use oracle/AAC/Morimoto or whatever rings that are the same sizes.

Basic run down of sizes:

Eagle Eye ccfl ring size is 140mm

Eagle Eye projector is a 3" projector for those of you that want to upgrade the projector too. The hi beam actuator on mine was messed up so i put a rivet to so its always low beam. The cut off line would shake while i drove and its because the actuator wouldn't hold firm.

Inner ring will be 80mm, same as the fog lights.

What I used:

1 set - Morimoto 140mm white/amber ring - $65 - amazon
1 set - Morimoto 80mm white/amber ring - $52 - amazon
-These rings have a wire you can connect to your blinker so they flash amber when you activate your turn signal. They come with wire taps and work perfect!
1 bottle - Permatex black 1 min gasket maker, 7.5oz - $20 - plenty left over

Are they available for purchase anywhere online?

I can't find anything similar to that double Halo thing you got on the inside.

They don't make the eagle eye headlights with a split dual halo similar to this, you will have to crack open the headlight to do it. They do make a dual ring halo headlight but they are right next to each other and i don't care for them at all. that's what made me do these ones!
