The most interesting thing I see is people looking at the Mustang and no one looking at the Camaro in those photos LOL.... I think the Mustang is a lot nicer looking especially when you see the ugly rear side window on the Gen 6.

I was pointing out the similarities but thanks for the clarification, and actually, it is two cars

Okay, well there are three cars on my screen and only two of them look the same.

The basic shape of a coupe design is where their similarities stop if you where comparing the mustang to the gen 6 car. Put the gen5 below the gen6. They will look much closer. Better yet put a C7 vette in the mix because that is where all the main styling cues for the gen6 car come from. You would have to be blind to not see that.

You are however like most people. They see a basic shape and say "look. They are the same."
It must be that some people never really developed past the basic skill of telling circles from squares when they were three. I don't know.

The last pic is an overlay, both cars... I just thought it was interesting in regards to the similarities that others were mentioning. There are noticeable differences both mechanically and cosmetic... yes, I can tell circles from squares and I also know what a knob is

The inside of the car is down right luxurious compared to a 5th GEN, but Camaros are stickered in upper $40K-$50K range while you can strike a deal on a Mustang in the low to mid $30K range. The new Camaro is awesome in my opinion in every way, but when I went to the dealer, I ended up with a 2014 because I just couldn't justify the extra cost for a car I will likely only drive 7 months of the year as a toy. Dealer's were also not budging on the price of a 2016.

The salesman who sold me my 2015 SS called me up yesterday and invited me to bring it in and check out all of their new 2016 Camaros. He said he'd give me a great trade-in deal. I said, "Sorry, not a fan of the new body style." He replied "That's what everybody says! Come on,I got to sell at least one of these 2016s!" I replied back "Why are they not selling? The high price?" He replied "Nobody likes the way they look. Every time someone checks one out, they end up asking if they have any 2015s left."

6th Gen Feb sales - not encouraging !

Gen6 looks like an awesome Camaro from every angle. If you disagree, I think you are in the realm of trying to justify staying with the 5th gen. No need for that, they are both awesome Camaros.

I owned a 5th gen & I will now own a 6th gen. Pay to play. Don't like it, great... No need to act butt hurt tho.

As far as everyone's salesman saying "nobody likes how hey look", sounds like a sprinkle of BS to me. Around here, they are flying off the lots like crazy.. They are struggling to keep up with demand.
