I don't think I could ask for anything more,People ask me whats under the hood and when I say V6 and 304 horsepower they are astounded.. That and the killer looks this car has, first rate interior cabin and high quality build, why would I want the expense of a V8??
This is my daily driver, a really hot set of wheels in traffic surrounded by Hondas ,Toyotas
and other look alike cars and vans.....

I had a V6 earlier this Spring and absolutely loved it. I would have been more than happy to stay with it. My husband is the type that wants to have the best of whatever he's buying though and he just couldn't stand it. Even though he barely drives it and bought it for me, he wanted to know we had the SS in the garage.

Of course I love my V8 now but the horsepower does nothing for me. I'm not going to be doing any racing or crazy stuff out on the streets so the V6 was more than enough horsepower for me. I honestly do like the front fascia on the SS better, but not enough that I would of chose to spend the extra money for just that one aspect. This isn't a daily driver so gas mileage isn't an issue. I was really surprised at the insurance difference. It was only $30 more for the SS every 6 months.

But either way, like I said, I was more than happy with my V6 and would of gladly stuck with it.

Hey, looks like your getting the same car as me. I have two other cars in the garage, both V8's, but I am having a blast driving the V6 Camaro. Especially loving the manual tranny. People complain about driving a stick in traffic, but its no biggie. I have 3k miles on the car now and just in the past week or so I have really gotten on it a few times. And being a V8 guy, this car is surprisingly quick. When you keep the RPMs in the 4-5k range it just fly's through every gear and before you know it you've hit 80 mph and beyond. I wouldn't worry about having regrets, your gonna love the car. Just be patient and baby it the first 1500 miles or so.

I love my 2LT and have no regrets whatsoever. My last sports car was a 98 Mustang GT. My 2 LT has 80 more horsepower and is much nicer inside and out.

Lets just say my car works hard to beat a Mazda 3, and im not joking. been seriously considering upgrading to an SS.
Im not sure if its just mine or not. Im going to test drive another v6 camaro and an SS before i make any final judgements. But my brother who has an 05 v6 stang can barely tell the difference between the two, me and my father said the same thing. The camaro is quicker but barely notciable.
Not sure if that helps, if you have the wallet for the SS, go for it hands down

You'll be happy with it if you don't expect it to be a veyron. It is what it is, which is powerful and a sweet car.

im hoping mine is just screwed up....or else everyone needs to try taking on a mazda 3 or v6 stang lol i love my car soo much believe ME! But it doesnt seem at all to have 304 hp. Maybe mine is one of those rare v6s which dyno lower numbers.
Im hoping to drive another v6 soon, everyone else seems to really notice the difference even going from a car with 260 hp, so hopfeully something is wrong with mine

I love my 2LT! It's powerful, it's tons of fun, the gadgets are cool, and it looks fantastic.

An auto V6 probably wasnt the best choice either but I cant be assed working a clucth in heavy traffic. However, the power and handling issues wont be a problem for most people just wanting a cool car to cruise around in and maintain good gas mileage.
PUHLEASE leave these people alone. If you owned all of those vehicles you mentioned and you honestly thought a V6 was going to be enough for you, you deserve everything you received. Everybody, I aplogize for this guys trolling but please do not take any stock in anything he says. Most members are aware and agree he is just here for attention or to cause trouble. If you love your V6, that is all that matters to you and I wish you luck with it. Nobody should say any different. Be proud of your purchase decision!

If it wasn't for the V6, I wouldn't have bought it. I need to squeeze as much gas as I can out of it as I drive 130 miles round trip a day. I just can not believe how well it runs.
