So me and jay discussed the idea about using the CT5THGEN t-shirt as the NEC5 official shirt. I then went and talked with CustomInk about the idea for replacing the CT part of CT5THGEN on the back header with NH/MA/RI/ME/VT and keeping the rest of the shirt the same.

The only drawback is we will lose the option for the "Red 5th" here's how the pricing would breakdown and the reason for not being able to use the colored 5TH in CT5THGEN.

The more we have the lower the price if we can get 10 to commit the price is as stated. We won't start until we have atleast 10+ people in on this. If we get 20+ i will ask what the price will be.

Kevin Dimond: why can't we get the same flowing design text like on the current shirt with the red 5TH
Jourden B. : The way we are able to change that text on each shirt in the order is through personalization. It is a different printing method from screen printing and that is where that additional $4.50 comes from. With personalization we have to have the whole name print in the same color.

OK,let me see if I get this,not that long ago there was a group of camaro enthusiasts known as New England Camaro5 (have the sticker&t shirt to prove it),from somewhere in the back the communist state decided they wanted to be free of the rest of us ? Now I guess NEC5 is dead,so we have ten letters,four hash marks,& camaro5 on a shirt ,I'm gonna revolt,my club is gonna be RIC5,sounds right to me

NEC5 isn't really dead definately not as active as it used to be especially since molloni has more or less disappeared he somehow held this all together, and i get this is a bit late to the party it was an idea doesn't mean it would happen. I think the real issues arose when a few of the CT guys that joined later saw that CT has a very strong car show culture i'm not saying the rest of New England is lacking in that respect but CT has grown more modern in there shows while most of new england has closed themselves off as antique to classic shows in alot of car culture rich areas. Maybe i'm wrong but i could take Northern New England as an example and outside of shows hosted by the ECCC and Town/City run shows everything is the old timers not wanting to let the new guys in and that stands in alot of towns aswell. We won't even get into the vette guys not all of them are bad but that culture has alot more issues then we'll ever have. This was at one point a club that hung out at the shows did things together often and had a great time then some of us became way to focused on awards at shows and stopped showing up to shows that didn't offer them.

Well i think that's enough said on the subject.

I can remember when ct was with the New York group. Kinda funny now I think of it how this all worked out. For some reason ct has wayyyy more active members and adding members almost daily. As long as we keep the camaro5 I'm good

Guys, there's.no fracturing of the group. The front of the shirts still recognize NEC5. Kevin asked and I thought it was a great idea if he wanted to take on the the task of setting up orders for each member state in NEC5. I'm still in charge of the CT shirt order that is active now and will help Kev get his off the ground if he needs it.

The idea was to try to keep the shirts alike as much as possible to help keep the identity of the club intact. Just food for thought.
