I have painted 2 yellow and 1 black with just rustoleum u really don't need there high temp paint never had an issue with pealing or cracking..
It seems to the prep work that determines the quality and lasting of your hard work. Im going on 4 years w mine. It turns out the Sun burst yellow is a closer match than a lot of the factor paint you can order in raddle cans. You can probably order your red w paint code from a online store that sells oem colors

Anyone else installed this blower?
I have done it before on different car I am told yellow can change colors with heat so I had ours apart and powder coated

So, I tried to do the Coil Boxes but couldn't get the paint to stick very well so I bagged it and did the coil brackets instead just to clean up the look somewhat. I think it came out ok (?)

Did you try sanding with them and doing a good cleaning on them with alcohol diluted?

Yeah, I clean them with nonchlorine brake cleaner, then I hit them with some alcohol, and the paint still came out splotchy. I could've spent a bunch of time on it but I think it worked out OK.
