Hey guys, Just came across this thread no I didn't read the whole thing.
I seems we are excited to fit the Z-28 manifolds to the ZL-1 with the Idea that they are factory engineered parts so they must be the best. Keep in mind the Factorys are held to the tightest EPA regulations so they have to fit Cats as close to the engine as possible to get the cats to light off with in a minimum time frame. This means Performance is Last on the list not first. Also note the LS7 has a different exhaust port than the LSA so they are not truly compatible. If you want the best performance out of exhaust mods there is nothing that comes close to Long Tube headers with high flow cats. If your sold on the Tri Y design we have the Pfadt LT headers and high flow cats available also. Hope this helps. Ted.

Is it worth the effort to switch out the stock ZL1 npp exhaust for the stock Z28 npp exhause. Is that 1/4" of pipe size upgrade worth the expense and time?
