Coated headers help reduce engine bay temp... I've had coated Kooks on previous cars and it works... Not only that but the coated headers cool off quicker

My new set are coated ... Someday I will get to installing them

Excelente. They gave me a great price and I'm going with Cool Black on the ceramic coating instead of Cool Krome.

I'm headed to the track this Saturday. Still have my stock headers on. I'll take some temps.

Going to install some Stainless Power headers with ceramic coating soon. It will be interesting to see the comparison.

Yes. Definitely. Put this debate to rest once and for all! I have Stainless Power headers with NO ceramic coating so we can compare temps with and without as well.

Silver ceramic coated headers produce less under hood temps than stock manifolds.

Uncoated Headers produce more under hood temps than stock manifolds.

Central Connecticut Coatings Hartford CT. does all of our coatings.

Ted.

My LFX catless downpipes were both ceramic coated (inside and out), and wrapped with DEI Titanium exhaust wrap. My engine bay temps have definitely decreased, but I've yet to set up my temperature sensors for an actual test.

Ted.
Is there any before coating/after coating information? I'd like to see actual numbers to back up these claims.
