You got that right. I don't like the wheels very much either. I think someone else already said that they used too many left over parts.

I like the HP but little else.

I think around $50,000 and not worth it. You can boost the HP to 750 for a lot less than that and add the other upgrades also.

Did you mean 50,000 on top of the regular GT500, cause the Supersnakes I thought cost about 100,000. I'm confused by your post please clarify for me. Thanks

The 630 horse package adds $29,495 to the price of a standard Ford Shelby GT500, while the more powerful pack adds an additional $4,000. Both packages come installed and include a listing in the Shelby registry.
33,000 extra on top of the gt500 for the 750hp version
29,495 extra on top of the gt500 for the 630hp version

expensive!! but it's not just horsepower you are getting. yes you can get that HP for cheaper (obviously) but you still won't have a shelby super snake.

Disgusting! I am not a Ford hater. I think that intake looks stupid. Those HID's look like a copy of Benz, they can do better. The 1/4 windows look retarded. The wheels could have been much better IMHO. I'm sure it is a great ride and comfort interior. I know the one thing I disliked about the '10 mustang v6 I drove was that the road noise is floating around the cabin way too much compared to my 2LT/RS.

Take the mustang and go. This is a Camaro site. For the Camaro, by the Camaro, and about the Camaro. Mustangs need not apply.

As long as I can remember, the stock, everyday, out of the showroom Camaro's always beat the Mustang.

So to be technical

Its the Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snake.

Doesnt flow. You can describe 750hp in fewer words. Its almost as if they let a 6th grader name what they would think the fastest car in the world should be called.

Once Shelby touches it, its not really a mustang anymore. Especially the Super Snake. Just about everything is modified in and on the car. So you would be better off calling it a "Shelby Super Snake" and dropping the Ford Mustang.

Technically the GT500 is a Shelby too. Shelby made the originals and every new one is still branded with thw Shelby snake. But these days Ford pumps them out from their factory. Or you can take your mustang to the Shelby lot here in Vegas and have them turn it into a Shelby look alike or upgrade to a GT500 comperable package.

The SuperSnake is an 'aftermarket car', and not factory original.

The Shelby GT500 is a Factory Original car, shipped from the Factory, complete with a Factory Warranty just like a Camaro SS........

The GT500 is factory built yes, what I was getting at is you don't typically refer to it as a "Ford Mustang" anymore. It's produced in conjunction with Shelby Automobiles, Inc. And most car enthusiasts just call it a Shelby GT500. The originals were built by Shelby directly and were called Shelby GT or Shelby Cobra GT.
