Changing torque converter

I want to change my torque converter I want to do it myself can anyone show me how to do it on a 5th gen

when changing a torque make sure you take your car to a reputable tuner and have him tune the trans just changing the convertor is a waste of time and money

Good video and tips guys. I always say make sure you have an extra set of hands as well. Trying to install one yourself can be dangerous even with a lift and trans jack. On floor jacks it's even scarier.

I'm planning on a cam and converter install this summer, as much as I would love to do it myself, I simply refuse to do it without a Car lift.

Agreed. It's a pretty straight forward swap if you know what you are doing. But if you have to ask how on a job like this, it's better to have someone who knows what they are doing replace it for you.

No one legit asks these kinds of questions. "How do I drop the tranny?" Really? Let's start with, "What is a Camaro" and work from there.
