In need of positive thoughts, good vibes, prayers, whatever you have got to send. My daughter, Jina was found to have cancer of her appendix. Biopsy results came in today. The tumor & fluid were removed in a surgery that was supposed to be to remove cysts from her ovaries & instead a tumor was found on her appendix. I will be heading down to Tallahassee to be with her on Sunday. She has doctor appointments Monday, Tuesday & goes to Mayo Clinic on Wednesday. Hoping for successful treatment & only good news from here on out.

As a cancer survivor, I know it's a tough battle; a positive, 'failure is never an option' attitude & family support play critical roles in winning...our thoughts & prayers go out to her, you & your entire family.

GM has discontinued the all wheel drive van , the reason for it was that it was costing them too much money to make it ....I suggested let me drive the chevy for another year to see if Ford offers an all wheel drive model . they don't want to do that .

So I just found out he now has ordered me a ford transit full size van , and yes it is NOT all wheel drive. the direct replacement for the chevy was an F150 pickup 4x4 with a utility cap . their reasoning for not getting the pickup is that they feel I have more potential to hurt my back climbing in the back of it to retrieve parts . I explained that that's my office and out my window it's snowing a lot and out their windows it's clear . They don't seem to get it , they preach safety but make dum moves like this . They just don't get I suggested they come spend a day with me , but I think this week should be the last of the snow .... ugh !!!!!!!!! Oh well
WOW!!! For a company to give you a 2WD for the conditions that you will be driving in is insane. I don't know how much "Clout" you have with them but I would certainly use the "Safety" word in conversations on why you need a 4WD. Good Luck!!!

Jan . Out thoughts and prayers are with your daughter.
Trickskier they say our safety guy was brought in on the conversation on a F150 4x4 and they think it does not work .one reason is that they feel that I will hurt my back climbing in and out of the box ..at this moment the only van that has all wheel drive or 404 option is Mercedes. I can't see me getting one. If GM had not discontinued the all wheel drive van , I probably would be getting the same vehicle as a replacement . I will talk to our safety guy next week ..I can see their side to a point , we are a large worldwide company and just Canada alone we require a lot of vehicles .. so they are always looking to save money where they can ...

Safe travels Jan. Hope all goes well.

Went to two shows yesterday, Cruise on Central in Phoenix and Christ Church of the Valley I Peoria. Both had several hundred cars in attendance.

I remember you saying that in your post. But IMO you will have more of a chance being involved in an accident with a 2WD than having a W/C Claim.

Hope everything works out for you!

Slowly but surely I'm making progress on my IROC - Z. Installed the new accessory drive this weekend. I'm going to have to get another bracket to mount the A/C compressor.
