1SS new is more affordable for sure. When I first took a look at 2010 Camaro's when they came out I looked at a 1SS/RS A6 and it was $35,500 while the cheapest 2SS was about $38k-$39k that was in 2010 but the price separation is still there by about $4k now. My 2012 Imperial Blue Camaro was a 1SS and I loved it to death. Now having a 2SS I still feel a preference to the 1SS trim overall. The cloth is nice and comfortable and doesn't wear as fast as the leather, if it's a newer model they have Bluetooth and USB anyway, and I could never tell the difference between the speaker system other than the Dash mount speaker and Boston emblems on the door panels but I'm also not an audio/sound system guy.

It seems like some people kicked in the door at the dealership, screamed at anyone that would listen; that all they wanted was a V8. Thus the 1ss was created.

No regrets at all.. pretty shallow statement to speak for many. I don't care for leather or butt warmers.. Love my cloth and resell? Not sure what option that is

.. Manual V8 was all I was in the market for.. Other than color nothing else matters at least to me. I do not not speak for everyone or many though. Maybe create a poll if anyone regrets this decision? Also, resell for a 1SS may be easier to those thinking of value rather than creature comforts so your statement may be biased on that also. It may be a difference of affording to do it or not. Just saying..

i dont know any man that would not go for all the goodies in a sports car if they could i get if money was a issue... again this is what i have seen and been told. and the more i think about it i think its true.. not really sure why someone would take a ashtray over the 4 pack gauges and they dont even smoke.. see people on camaro5 many many times say i did not want this or that but then post that they did it weeks later just saying

I would have liked the leather seats but I bought mine off the lot. Price was right.

Not sure this was answered about the emblems but an SS without the RS option has white SS emblems. SS with RS option has red SS emblems. Nothing to do with 1SS or 2SS. At least that's what I know of the 14-15 cars.

I only wanted the items in red below, so I just added them to my 1SS for a lot less...

- Leather heated seats
- Ambient lighting
- Boston acoustics 245watt 9-speaker premium audio
- Auxiliary gauges (center console)
- Auto dimming interior and exterior mirrors
- Bluetooth and USB connections
- Remote start (Automatic transmission only)
- Leather steering wheel with controls

why would you not want a Remote start......or the best sound system Boston acoustics 245watt 9-speaker premium audio did you buy after market

I prefer to have all.... luxury, looks, and performance. 2SS is the only model I would have bought, but again just my preference.
