*Updated* E85 on stock fuel pump? RWHP guesses?

Okay, E85 was just installed on my car and it's using the stock SS fuel pump. I'm getting roughly 600 to the wheel right now. I'm also increasing boost from 8psi to 11psi. I'm changing my pulley and can't remember what size it is. I look at other members cars in that 650-700 whp and it seems that everyone has twin fuel pumps. It's getting put on the dyno Monday and will find out where I'm at. My car has been on the dyno multiple times, the first time I finished at 607 whp and that was on 275 stock tire and the second time finished at 575 whp on 305 drag radials. This time it will be on 275 drag radials. They said the tires played a small roll along with other factors. Any thoughts about the stock fuel pump and guesses where I'll end up?

Ok, found out some info today. There's a chance that my fuel pump wasn't a SS stock pump. When the car was purchased new it was sent to Callaway and they might have put a bigger pump in it. I will be going with dual pump system from Fore. Twin 450's. Can't wait to get this done. Any guesses on the RWHP?

You'll end up on a flat bed tow truck soon enough.
Don't skimp on a fuel system after spending all that money..

From everything I've read....that's a bad move with the stock SS pump. I'll be stunned if you have enough fuel. People here say that even the ZL1 pump with ADM FPCM can't deliver on E85. Do you even have a BAP?

I think you'll end up with bits and pieces of your piston and rods laying in your oil pan if you do this.

+1

You need a dual pump setup. Ideally a dual 450 setup

to run E85, you will have to supply at least 25% more E85 than pump gas at your current power level. You are already at the boarder for a SS pump with a BAP on pump. Time to upgrade the fuel system if you really want E85. Not worth destroying an engine for.

Other question is, are you still on a 6 rib belt? Because I would be surprised if you will hit 11 psi on a stock belt setup.

Like the others have said, you'll blow it up. Whats your current fuel pressure at WOT, on your current setup? Are you even running a boost a pump?

600whp on the stock pump?

Now you're upping the boost and switching to e85?

On the stock effing pump?

This won't end well.

That's good to hear. Stock fuel pump would have blown your engine for sure.

HP guess...seing that you were 600ish before the E85...maybe 700? I haven't done E85 yet or researching it that much. But I'm sure some of the corn vets could give you a pretty close guess.

That would be awesome to be in the 700's. I'm hoping for that too.
