All my 6 rib 2.5 did was slip. I would probably go with a 2.75 or have grooves machined into it like the cobra guys do

I'd be good with a 2.75 if they were in stock. I won't be starting the install for a little while so I'm in no rush and I want to get all of the correct parts I need.

Both of these guys are in south FL (I know it will be quite a drive just for a tune) but they are very very reputable.

My kit arrived today and everything looks great! Now my only concern is the 2.5 pulley that I've selected based on the replies I've got here. Any suggestions? I see that the 2.5 should be 10-11psi and I've read that these blocks can handle that, but I'm thinking the LSA injectors might not give me enough fuel. I'm new to boost and I'd rather get it right the first time obviously and be safe.

If you follow my link below, you can see what that takes for an LSA install...
Several folks have done it and you'll find a lot of info in the members build thread... -Don

Also, would it be stupid of me to chop up my current roto-fab intake to make it work with this swap? I don't want to shell out $400 on a new one just for the tube lol. I'm not skimping on safety or reliability, but saving money is my thing being a local government employee with low pay lol.

RotoFab should have an upgrade if you ck with them. I will say the ADM race CAI with the air scoop (RotoFab ZL1 since I have a ZL1 bumper) works great...
If you get a two piece pulley setup, many will say go 2.5 but belt slip is a concern. ADM does have newer pullies with the grip tech added but not sure if it is in 6 rib. Myself, I'm more conservative and would have done a 2.75 2 piece if I had to do it again. Then, work my way down to a 2.5 once (and injectors) if I wanted more power and felt I could rectify the belt slip. Andy has done tons of these so if he feels the 2.5 is good for your setup, stick with that. I have a 2.5 sitting and will need to pull the snout to have it put on, sure would have been better if I did a 2 piece before I installed the kit. I believe stock is 2.85. Right now, I'm pretty stoked with what I have and it runs great, with no belt slip. For a DD, (I drive it 3 or 4 times a week), it's fantastic. The 2 piece will allow you to upgrade later... I'm right at 600 RWHP at 6 PSI boost stock pulley with my setup... -Don

As far as how much RWHP on just installing the kit, get a baseline of your current setup. You can the estimate adding 125 to 150 to that number.
I believe an M6 is around 360 to 390 tuned with CAI configuration... So 485 to 540 RWHP would be a close range. 1LEs seem to do a bit better with these kits over an LS3 M6... All in all, if your budget is tight, go conservative and plan for the upgrades. -Don

I'm aiming to break 550rwhp all said and done. The more the better obviously. All in all I have the kit now and I just have a little more research to do. I plan on taking a week off to get everything done sometime in the next month.

What is your current RWHP? That will give you an idea. If you estimate 125 RWHP from the stock kit, that will give you a ballpark (without pulley or injectors upgraded)...

I'd say closer to 400. The car is strong as hell, I've never had her on a dyno.
