sct + wideband
I have an sct tuner and it doesn't have my lc2 wideband in the system yet. I have all the cables and stuff to wire it into the sct. when I do the custom setup and enter the values it dosnt read right. the wideband is 0-5 volts o=7.35 and 5=23.39. the formula is (v*a) +b or (v+a) * b. any info would be great!!!

Where did you ground the cable and where did you tap into for the % volt source on the firewire cable? I'm about to do this exact thing this weekend.
Thanks Keith |

I used the body ground and I used the analog 1 input orange wire on the FireWire. I connected that to my innovative lc2 controller. on the lc2 the analog out wire is yellow.

I think the brown wire is the one you should have used. I'm finishing mine up today going to use the that one. The default setting for the brown wire is 0v=7.35 AFR 5v = 22.39AFR. Good luck avo.

The default analog outputs for the LC-2 are as follows:
Did you calibrate the O2 sensor in free air?

yes I calibrated it. I'm using the guage and the sct. the guage reads 16% and the sct reads 7%

((v+0.025)*3.008)+7.35
This is the one that finally worked for me. Been so long ago now that I set it up, I don't remember how I ended up with this. I do remember it was a supreme PITA to get it working.

v=voltage(0-5v) You would use the formula in Livelink II as the data is captured in volts and needs a formula to convert to an AFR display.
Just thinking, I assumed you have the SCT X4 but if you have the X3 I think you can set up the equation right in the handheld and display AFR.

my bad i have the lc-1 so I used the brown wire with the formula (v*3.008)+7.35 and it seems to be working just fine.

I applied ground offset in an attempt to make it more accurate.
V is voltage plus the .025 was to correct for less tha perfect ground. Might not apply to your specific setup.

This is what worked for me with fuel pressure.
((v-0.4)/.04)+(-12.5)

Thanks. I tried that formula and it is about 10psi off what my little gauge on the regulator reads. Now I was told by Ted that those little gauges are off somethings. It is a Marshall gauge that I picked up at the local speed shop and it was only about $20. You think my gauge is crap?

I wouldn't want to speculate. I have a large test type gauge that I used to "tune" my formula.
It does pretty much agree with my cheap little gauge though. If you can verify somehow the gauges accuracy, you can manipulate the formula to make it accurate.
