IronStone trip

Drove up to IronStone Vineyards for a Mother's Day break with the wife. Straightened out the Gold Country Foothills like nothing else!

Took the wife on a surprise Mother's Day cruise to one of her (our) favorite get away spots (Laughlin, NV). She loved the drive; had a good dinner & a few drinks at Bubba Gump's before an evening of entertainment & fun

Drone is so bad it vibrates the car in 6th gear. One thing I did notice about these MRT mufflers is the weld on the tips are not all they way around the pipe. Seems a little cheap to me when they retail over $500.
Yes I believe the X pipe is suppose to directly replace that H pipe we have now. That Magnaflow pipe is a weld in piece if I remember right. I think you could probably find a resonated Xpipe of you wanted it even quieter.
Mine is actually the SLP delete kit. It seems to be good quality, especially compared to some. I only get that kind of bad cabin drone on cold starts for about 15 seconds. However for that 15 seconds it sounds like my bass is turned up on the sub without the stereo on.
GL let me know how it goes.

Dropped her off at the dealership. Have a hell of a rattle underneath the car. Really hoping it's just a heat shield coming loose.

Brembos

Painted my calipers following the DIY. After reading that the caliper bolts are TTY I order new ones from my local dealer. Many have reused the old ones but for $3-4 per bolt was worth the piece of mind for me.

Changed out the V6 brakes for some low-mileage Brembos; from backing plates to master and everything in between. Remembered just how much I hate drum brakes while putting the e-brake back together.

Tried something different for my tail light.
If I still like in the morning, I'll do the passenger side...
Opinions?

Not bad, need to see the other side done and of course a full overview of the rear. Looks like an Anzo or Eagle Eye tailight sort of. Might look pretty good, I hope that's plasti-dip just in case.

A buddy made some custom black and red emblems for the sides. "War Horse" has been branded.

Looks good. I did something similar to one of my past cars, took the tail/brake lights from a big blob to a 2" horizontal line.
