LS3/L99 ENGINE GROUND LOCATION QUESTION?
Hey guys, I am installing a Auto Meter water temp gauge in my 2010 SS L/99 Camaro that requires the ground wire to be grounded to the engine block.
For those of you who have done this, which bolt on the engine block did you use? Does it need to be attached directly to the block, or can you attach it to another item the is mounted to the block? Thanks in advance for your help. All The Best, Orange 2010 Camaro |

There are plenty of threaded locations on the fronts and backs of the heads. Or use one of the 4 or 5 existing locations. One is on the oil dipstick bolt, two on the back of the heads, and there are two on the block.
