Trailing arm install... What am I doing wrong?
After watching and reading where other people have installed trailing arms it seems like I'm the only one having an issue getting the bolt out closest to the wheel. No matter what I do the bolt won't budge past the LCA. BMR only told me that they know it will come out that it just takes some wiggling. Any help getting this bolt out would be greatly appreciated.

I loosened up everything around there...made it a lot easier. Did them last weekend actually.

I've had to remove the control arm bolt as well.

try extending the suspension travel.
try compressing it. you may have to take out the shock and knuckle bolts from the LCA to push it out of the way. |

I think compressing the suspension or having the suspension at full drop would work.

I believe you mean the TOE LINK (upper RH Bolt in the pic with the head facing the body tub, and a CAM BOLT). The Trailing Arm Bolt has no issues for installation or removal (has a captured nut). I found you Must loosen up the rear cradle bolts enough to tilt down the front of the cradle enough for the bolt to be removed.
" o TOE ROD - Remove the 18mm Toe Rod Bolt at the Hub/Spindle. Mark the Inner Bolt and Cam position on the LCA before removal, then remove the Toe Rod 21mm Inner Nut. The Driver’s side bolt cannot be extracted on the Driver’s side unless you lower the front of the Cradle. Place a Hydraulic Jack under the Differential, and position a pair of Jack Stands to support the Cradle at the front bolts. Remove the Front Cradle Bolts with a 24mm socket. Slowly lower the jack at the Differential and let the front Cradle tilt down at least 1” or more and remove the Toe Rod Inner Bolt and Toe Rod." |

No I was in fact having trouble with the outside bolt on the trailing arm not the toe rod. I finally did get it out though just kept compressing and I compressing the suspension until it could be worked out. Thanks for the replies!
