After seeing those rear offsets you might not want to lower it at all.

Absolutely. The ride quality is great and Ridetech is very well known in the pro-touring market.

What I don't understand is what spring rate would be best for achieving a good daily driver and drag racing/road coarse duty. Maybe there is know such animal?

There is an optimal set up for daily driving, an optimal set up for drag racing, and an optimal set up for a road course and they are all very different because they require the suspension to do very different things. Honestly, the difference between those setups is not even so much about spring rate as it is about the dampers. Something like Pfadt or BMR springs will ride well and improve performance but nothing like you would get with coil overs where you could dial in a set up for whatever kind of driving you are doing.

what would u recommend for lower spring running 20 x9 off set 40mm all the way around. that wouldn't hit the front strut plate for daily driver just want the better ride and lower look

AsI'm looking at new wheels ('11 SS/RS) - and - lowering. Stock is +35 front and +40 rear. Reducing the offset would better clear the Brembos... Is ths correct?
Also, looking at lowering 1.25" - with aFe Control PFADT Series (from apex-speed) - so this is important not to stick my tires out more then stock. I prefer +25 front AND +35 rear - IF it won't interfere ? Lastly, to find a shop in Central VA to install, reclock bushings, and align. The folks that did my previous engine/tune pretty much called me stupid doing this... Last edited by RobsCountach; 05-01-2016 at 07:47 PM. |

With a 2015 1LE camaro my rear at stock ride height is about 1/4" higher than the front. I would like to lower the front 1" and the rear 1.25 while still retaining the cornering characteristics of the car. If it rides a little harsher Im fine with that I just do not want increased body roll. Any suggestions on doing this without going to coilovers ? Thanks
