Niche wheels

Anyone ever run wheels from this brand? I'm looking at the model linked below for all four corners. Was browsing through a jegs catalog and they caught my eye. Just don't want to invest in a company that people have had bad luck with.

I have niche wheels, no issues. Before i bought them i looked online for complaints, couldn't really find any. I think i remember reading that they are made by the same company that makes foose wheels if that makes you feel any better.

niche

I have run Niche Apex rims and they have held up very well for the price. No vibrations and no large amounts of wheel weights to balance them so I am sold on them. I suppose some styles may be not as strong to handle the stress but the Apex style has a good amount of material connecting the center mass to the outside barrel which is sorta hidden from a side view by the 5 spoke design IMO they would be ok for street use and even autoX. They are not light weight as they weigh almost as much as OEM.

I've got Niche targas on my car too. Mine are the two piece so I could get the two tone look. No problems ever. Still love them as much today as the day I got them.

Just wondering what size to run. I really want to go for a square setup, just trying to figure out if I can get away with 20x10's in the front without rubbing on my suspension. Any tips on what offset I should shoot for to avoid? Also, what tire width would I be looking at, 315's?

I am not 100% sure but I don't think you will be able to run a square setup on 315s. I am running 285s on 20x10 rims with a +35 offset and it's doable but with a lowered setup and aggressive negative camber I was having a ever so slight tire rub on the front struts so I went with a custom ground billet 5 mm spacer for the fronts. Then get the longer truck studs for the fronts or use ET lug nuts to get back the same thread bite as OEM rims had.

Hmm. I do know that people that went square with the SS 20x9s (running 275) were rubbing in the front, and they just used spacers to offset that. Wonder if I could evade that by getting a rim with a lower offset to push them out a bit more. I know that the 1LE wheels are a 20x10 in the front with a +23 offset, maybe if I got a slightly lower offset I'd be able to rock wider tires up front? They have a model with a +20 offset, which would render me 10mm less clearance from wheel to strut. Figure I may be able to get 5/10 MM spacers to keep that distance the same as stock?

Using this calculator to get these numbers btw http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator#
