Overkill is a definite improvement in throttle response and a much deeper sound. Throttle response is a killer in our cars-i went from the Vmax to the Overkill and immediately noticed increased response

That is something that is tangible. Keep in mind...you will not feel a 5HP change...just "bragging rights"

You will notice improved throttle response. Not as much as you would with the Overkill, but you will see it.

Ok thanks . By the way once I install the Vmaxx , I can sell my VTC or still keep it? Since you said that I will get better throttle response with the vmaxx.

Same here... cant wait til mine arrives. Will be installing instantly. Will is a good guy. He threw in the elbow for my CAI for free and there was no tax. It was black Friday (literally) when I ordered but you never know, he may still do it if you ask nicely

Contact Will through his website. There you go, Derek had both the VMAXX and the Overkill throttlebody and says he preferred the Overkill for better throttle response and the much deeper sound. Look at it this way also, one is 72mm, one is 80mm, bigger is better, everybody knows that.

Overkill 80 is 299.00, VMAXX is 300.00. The VMAXX has a core deposit . When you get it , you take you TB off a send it back to them and the give you 150.00 back if it meets there criteria.

Derek, has Will done any tuning with the mace cams in a N/A application with the 80 and E-85? Have you got the Mace setup in Lola? I remember you saying you and Will had talked about it. Wonder what the rollers would say if Will had tuned the Mace cams with ported mani, the spacers, and the 80 on E85 on a N/A set up? Did DGM ever dyno before he went FI with the Mace cams? Saw Magnums post in the LTT section about the Aussies pulling 333 Rwhp out of a LFX with a mani, exhaust and a tune only. Maybe Will could chime in and talk about tuning for the Mace setup, if he ever gets a spare minute, with all he has going on.
