K&N blackhawk dry CAI

I've been thinking of upgrading my CAI and saw this model... Looks pretty cool and is priced right for me.

I'm looking for feedback regarding this model for those who own this one.

thanks!

No experience with this one but a lot of people on here say no to K&N. If you want something cheap, check out the members classifieds section. I got a like new rotofab for only like $150 over there.

I have this one. It was easy to install. I don't know if it made a huge difference in power but, it defiantly sucks in more air. This filter is huge. Very well made and has held up well for the past year or so.

I no longer have one, but it does look great and makes a subtle statement in the engine bay. The filter is dry, which is what i prefer. And, it fit perfectly.

Now that the "cold air intake wars" are over, it has all boiled down to which one looks the best to you.

Heres my bay when it was in:

Powdercoat
Silver ice on the ends and a flat-ish black for the main bar to match the plastics in the engine bay. I like that it kinda disappears in the engine bay
