LS3 Exhaust Question (Easy)

So I am pretty sure on my theory, without much research. But I have a LS3 with no resonators or mufflers (Muffler delete basically). Simply put, if I remove my rear cats how much louder/deeper sounding will the exhaust be compared to just muffler delete ? Also will removing the rear cats trip a CEL, since the order is front cat, o2, rear cats ?

Just get highflow cats. Will prob be cheaper or the same amount and they're better.

You will throw a CEL as you have to have the rear o2s hooked up or deleted in a tune and they cannot be much farther down stream or they throw a delayed response code. If your replacing them on the pipe replacing it you still stand a chance of throwing a code...

And you will have trouble passing DEQ......

The rear O2 sensors monitor the primary cats, not the secondary cats. Read a bit more before telling the guy incorrect info. I've removed the secondary cat from just about every vehicle I've owned that had one with not one CEL because of it ever. He's keeping the primary cats (the ones the sensors "see") and ditching the secondary. He will only fail if the inspection place is super anal on the visual part. Should only cost @ most $100 bones at any halfass decent exhaust shop. Just make sure that they support the pipes in the same position as they hang from the factory when they go to re-weld them.
