Lol... basically the same hp..but the Camaro weighs about 7-800 lbs more and you guys are killing them.. well anyways I love em both.. the vette is faster, sry guys

I can tell you as the owner of a 2013 Camaro SS L99(couple mods and a tune) and a C5 Z06 (bone stock) the Camaro does not even come close to the Z06. A stock C5 Z06 is capable of a 3.9 0 to 60 and a high 11 sec 1\4 mile (stock on street tires). With that being said it does all depend on the driver. As for as a standard C5 Corvette they run 13.2 or better in the 1\4. I had a 2000 Corvette, 6 speed with air intake, no tune, stock exhaust and I ran 12.8 @ 111 MPH. You may give a stock C5 a good run...but the C5 Z06 with a capable driver will hand you your a**. The C6 Corvettes ..I've driven them, a friend of mine has an 07 with bolt on's and a tune, with slicks he runs 11.23...another with just an air intake and a tune 12.2. Sorry but the Corvettes are faster.

My only first hand real world experience:

Her boss had a 2012 Corvette convertible 6A. It was absolutely faster. It had 35 more stock HP (435-400) and weighed almost a THOUSAND POUNDS less (according to Edmunds.com) then my 2013 SS convertible. I really wanted a blue Corvette convertible, but she is a Camaro girl and black is her color. I'm happy with the decision as we can take my kids out in the Camaro and it's been a great car so far. It gets lots of attention as well. Probably more then the red Vette did.

The question was if they are faster then any corvettes of the past and yes the 5th gen Camaro ss is faster then some vettes from the 90s. Not a surprise they are also faster then lambos from the 90s and feraris. Now once you get to the year 2000+ then the answer is the Camaro prob dosent have a chance vs any of those.

Yeah supposedly, he owned a C6Z as well as this so called Camaro. Seems he changed his info since he came back from being booted for a while. At any rate, I had called him out on his BS posts as well as a few others and he resorted to sending me derogatory and racially motivated PM's. Well guess what? I have video of me racing my car @ the track and on the street. Plus, I have bought and sold parts for MY Camaro that I did own. There's a difference between imagination and reality. Your imagination tells us you owned a C6Z and a Camaro SS. Reality however, tells us that you're just full of shit for all we know. My imagination wished my old Camaro ran 11's. Reality strikes and my best effort was mid 12's @ 116 mph. You see, I have time slips from my favorite track, San Antonio Raceway. I don't just talk about things I have no idea what I'm talking about. You do remember your early posts saying you owned a C6Z, right? What happened to that car? Did it just magically dissapear? Im sure several other members remember this. Or that picture in your avatar could be you coming out of your friends house, into the garage. We don't really know, do we. All we can do is just assume that since most of your posts are full of shit, that you must be as well. Remember, you yourself said that you didn't care if you got banned or not. That you had several IP's at your disposal to create more accounts and cause more shit.
