L99 to Ls3 conversion

I see on mod lists all the time people getting a conversion kit to be able to use LS3 camshafts, but I'm just trying to find out where people are getting these cause I don't want to over pay for a conversion kit.

I've had mine done. BTR Stage 2 cam, LS3 conversion, torque converter and all the upgrades. Price rage varies from guys saying $2300 to $4000 to get the work done. Depends on the parts, tune and labor.

Not sure OP but you may want to consider a VVT cam for your L99 instead of the LS3 route as that seems to work very well and provide good power? Maybe search on that here a bit.

I kept vvt and am more than happy that I did. All the local tuners/builders wanted me to do pay them for the ls3 swap and didnt want to do vvt. To this day, one of the most popular local shops still say vvt is waste of time.

I went through Cam Motion and highly recommend them.
Solid roller cam
Factory CNC LS3 heads modified by Frankenstein
Jesel shaft mounted rockers
Circle D 3C 3600 stall converter
Etc.

VVT, but you need a very competent tuner who knows VVT stuff.
