I have seen your car, Brian tuned it, looks nice.

We have a lot of new suspension pieces instock now for the car, I have some NICE pfadt sways that will help keep the friction patch of both tires on the ground, creating a more solid real feel.

Subframe bushings, control arm polys, ect. We have it all, and have a lot of insight into the chassis dynamics oh this car. We have a customer making a about 100 more wheel then your car now, we have constantly working with to get his 1/4 times down, and everything so far looks good, we saw a drop in .2 tenths with the sport sways, and we are awaiting some more pieces to get more out of it!

Good luck with the car, we are free to help!

Weight and suspension are key's to running a low number, but with this car you WILL be sacrificing its ability to be a great "all around performer" if you start hacking this car up. The true test will be running great times in the 1/4 and roadcourse. I'm sure we will see many one trick pony's start popping up, running impressive times...if having only a 1/4 mile beast is their goal, I'm sure they will be successful. I will be more impressed with those who take a no compromises approach and create a set up that can do both.

I've been looking at some of the GT-R forums, for a car that weights similar (GRANTED it has alot of technology, and sports a very sophisticated AWD system, and bulletproof motor), but that car can turn AND launch, GT500's do a fair job at both, of course Vette's are stupid fast at both...

I thought I'd stand a chance with a GT-R if I saw one out, but I'm not so sure now...
My Skyline GTR has 608HP and its a 92 and a 500+HP Camaro still would not have a snowballs chance in heck against it. I am not bashing AT ALL. Please don't take my post the wrong way, I can't wait to get my 2SS, I am just saying any GTR R32/R33/R34 or the present R35 with its massive weight is a lot of spunk, and a lot of grip, and a heck of a lot of technology to try and beat.
My little R32 GTR has pissed off a lot of guys at SCCA, NASA, track test and tune days, and public back roads (not that I was racing of course ) so I know from driver seat experience that these cars are hard as hell to beat. I can't wait to get my Camaro and build a package that will make this possible, but from what I have seen available so far, it just ain't gonna happen yet. Some day, sure, just not today or very soon.

We should be back there, testing the other night yielded real nice results! We have some bugs with the new two step, and its killing some coil packs, with a too tight converter, and a 2.1 60' and a dead coil pack the car went 9.50 at 155mph. Should be on 8 cylinders going 164 mph or better! And with is 1.3 60 fts we have had before, and a proper 2 step, I think 8.50's are attainable.

I just thought I would pull this thread back up. It seems to have disappeared in the weeds, but I find it very interesting...

Any new news from Intense or anyone with this product to report?

It's funny I was looking for this thread today and could not find it.
Any updates on the system. Hope they relocated the Air intake, because a friend is interested only if the filters are up front.

Update on the Twin Turbo

I have been daily driving the car and it has been great. I went ahead and installed the pfadt sways that Brandon recommended and they work well, the car feels very good and I feel the difference. I also put some 305/35/20 nittos on the rear, but I have not been able to go back to the track to test them. The car still spins a lot with the nittos at 35 psi, so I'm looking forward to testing them at 18-20 psi.

So far, the car has reponded excellent and no issues with the filter location whatsoever; I just cleaned them 2 weeks ago when I was installing the sways and all looks good (like new still). The car has 3700 miles on it.

I will keep updating the post for anyone interested on results. BTW - I will probably go ahead and add a boost controller and add a few more psi of boost for when I go to the track. The car will probably push over 600 rwhp.

Update - 11-14-2009

Just drove to Miami and back (600+ miles) to do a top speed 1 mile run at an event called Top Gun Run, it was amaizing all the supercars that were there. My car only ran 163 mph because the car would hit the rev limiter and it wouldn't shift into 5th gear once it hit 160 mph......nevertheless, it was a lot of fun!!!

Todd(Intense): I'll be calling you on Monday to see what we can do about that, apparently too much torque and the transmission's ecm would not budge on shifting, I even tried manual shift and it would not let me.

BTW - This is my second long trip with this car and I averaged 23.5 mpg on the travel, I estimate that I averaged about 1 mpg on my runs , damn, that was fun!!! Anyone doubting this setup would not be a good fit is misinformed....if you're ever around Florida (Northeast) I would be more than glad to show you the car and how I drive it like my wife's volvo every day to work, rain, traffic, wind, etc....
