how much more boost with meth

I am at 10 psi boost with my 2300 maggie and cant go much more without meth. So the question is how much more boost can I add and start tuning with the meth.

Im not sure if you want to up the boost, when you add meth you should be able to add timing. You will pick up power from the timing.

If running out of meth on your tune isn't a concern then I would look at doing meth an retune.

I dont believe there is a "set" number for boost when adding methanal. I could be wrong about that, but I've never heard of it if there is. What kind of power are you running? Stock internals? Meth, as you may well already know, allows you to run more timing and boost, but there is no spreadsheet as to what boost you run per volume of meth. It just depends on how the engine responds to your mods and its environment. There is no question you can run more timing and boost, but your tuner will be the judge as to where the line ends.

Depends on the fuel system. If you are using meth for power because your fuel system is maxed then you can't run more boost.

With a squash twin setup, meth and E85 I was running 13#'s.

Excellent point. What are you doing for fuel? Whats your FP like at WOT?

Make sure you get a system with failsafes if you are going to tune for meth. Meth pumps are famous for failures and blowing up cars who have aggressive meth tunes.

If you can get E85 in your area you'd be 100x better off with it.

Agree 100%. Pumps fail...nozzles plug...methanol tank runs dry...etc, etc. That being said, fuel pumps fail too and blow engines. Injectors plug. There are many people out there running meth for a long time with no failures. But be vigilant if you go this route.

For me...I just can't bring myself around to tuning in meth. E85 will probably be my next thing.

I have a vapor worx kit with CTSV pumps and injectors are at 68% duty cycle so I am thinking about adding 3 psi boost 10 psi now just don't want to go too far but obviously want as much power as possible. And I did buy the fail safe components to bleed off boost if line pressure drops.
