What kind of PCV setup are you running? My car was doing the same thing, I called a couple shops checking on rebuilding the turbo and they gave me some specs to check the turbo and it checked out fine. I was running a RX catch can system with a oil fill cap breather. Long story short, it was the check valve in the breather cap.

I now vent all PCV to atmosphere, problem solved.

I have a one way check valve between the intake manifold and crank case vent . And the passenger valve cover to the intake.. until I get my catch can . Just how the turbonetics instructions said to route it . Would it cause smoke at idle If the pvc wasnt working properly ? Any way I can quickly check it ?

I don't see the point in have a check valve from intake tube to valve cover, none of those should see positive pressure. The check valve from intake manifold to crankcase should stop boost from going from manifold into crankcase. You can remove and blow through it to check. Either way neither of these will cause oil in the downpipe I'd be contacting the turbo manufacturer

Yah the check valve is between the intake manifold and the valley cover to allow vacuum during idle and prevent boost from entering the valley cover . The line from the cold air intake to the valve cover is unrestricted. I bought the turbo kit used so . That's why I was figuring it needed to be rebuilt or replaced.. sorry I meant valley cover*** not crank case haha

Any suggestions on a replacement turbo? I'm debating whether to upgrade or rebuild .. I replaced some seals in this one and started it up .. no smoke yet .. I'll drive it In the morning...see what happens

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CQtNMkDCTKg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> well it's all back together . Still makes the supercharger whine noise... dunno if that's normal or not.. smoking is gone.. I think the slight lean conditions at idle are pcv I'm going to mess with it more today ... don't expect this to last too long but I figured what the heck. Lol . Maybe it will get me till I can save a few bucks and upgrade it ...trading my motorcycle for a daily driver was a good decision. Haha

update*

for now.. car is an animal again.. so im happy.. no smoke, no oil... car is still idling a little lean.. 15.5-16 AFR fluctuating at idle... but good afr cruising and in boost.

they're from aeroforce, i was just glad i could get away from the standard A pillar. so far im really happy with them. only thing was running the aem boost control and afr gauge.. they have thicker wiring harnesses.. so it was a bit of a challenge getting all of it through there.. ultimately it worked though haha.

I'm running the AEM boost and AFR setup can I purchase the 2 aero force gauges just to read from my OBD2?

Someone correct me if im wrong but i thinkThe obd2 doesn't read afr (wideband) and can only read boost If you get a 3 bar sensor. But I think the aeroforce interceptor you can getthose two specific sources in one gauge (not from obd2)... I don't have these gauges so someone else may be able to give better info... I just read off their website

Correct, to read boost through the OBDII port, you will need a 2 or 3 BAR MAP sensor plugged in, along with the proper change in the tune. To get wideband AFR, you will need to have a wideband sensor installed, the 4 installed on the fifth gen, are all narrowband.
