That's about how much it is for an SS with Mobile 1 Full synthetic at my dealership. Idk why it would be that much for a V6.

d) Not pay Mercedes Benz extortion prices for parts and service anymore.

I mean for real... the window switch on my C-class went last year. Dealer wanted $400 for the part. I bought it myself in the USA for $38, the original Bosch part. That is usurious, making $38 into $400, so no more of that!
Welcome & congrats on the upgrade!

It's an automatic. And I can live with that, especially with the horrendous traffic on our highways...as for oil changes, if they're even less than $75, I'll be delighted. I never had one cheaper than $400 at Mercedes...

$450 oil changes in the Benz?

Is there some sort of special magic about Merc oil changes or is it a literal oil tanker

My girlfriend owns a SLK 280 vert. Beautiful little car! But $350 for an oil change. There is no drain plug on the Benz's they have to pump or suck the oil out of them lol. So a lot is labor I presume.

OP nice car congrats!
