Scott, how are you doing the Onstar thing when you don't have the car yet? You can active service before hand? Or you have service for another car to make it easier? Please clue me in.....

I had onstar in my old Camaro and as soon as I did the paperwork for the new one, it automatically added it to my account. Then I just happened to open the app on my phone and figured..what the hell, I'll see if it will update the stats. The app told me that the car needed to be started first...then just waited until they started it to unload it off the train..bam stats!! lol I didn't actually think it would work since the car is in transport mode. Lucked out!! I thought about setting the remote alarm off..scare the crap out of the driver!! haha

Cool Scott! Glad yours is in town.
Just picked my 1LE tonite. They did free window tint for me today. They were suppose to do black bowties, but couldn't get it done in time today. But I'll be going back next week for them. Here is a couple quick shots - ![]() ![]()

Scott, it's great that they signed your build sheet. I'd read they do that sometimes. Awesome!

Your car looks really good!! I'm hoping to get my windows tinted next week. They damaged one of my front rims unloading the car (just a scratch) so, I'll have to wait until it gets here before I can put on the new tires I have.

Would you believe I was a STUPID arse and already popped a curb with my back wheel. Did it just 12 hours after I had it. I wanted to cry afterwards. It's not too bad fortunately. I was in a parking lot only going about 10mph. Got about 1 1/2" on the outside lip and also the bumper lip on the tire. No so bad to hurt the integrity of either. I did a quick touch up on it and it was good enough most can't tell. But I'll spend more time on it this weekend to get it even better. That really sucked though.
On a better note, I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!! I already installed my mild2wild switch and skipshift eliminator. BOTH of these are necessities IMO. The car sounds sooooo beatiful! I have some nice twisty roads where I'm staying this weekend, and they are childs play to this car. Not pushing hard yet - only 150 miles so far. But I'm playing enough that I'm only getting about 14mpg. But could care less. This car is my own personal amusement ride And it looks beautiful. I can't look at it without smiling.Scott, your gonna LOVE your car when you pick it up!!!! |
