Is 15 rwhp extra something you're looking for?

I've run my rod mod intake a few years. I think the car felt stronger after I put it on though I did not dyno. SI with the gear too I trapped a best of 115. And I think I trap pretty strong now for h/c car with a 228/243 cam and ported heads.

I'm going to try it without heads. However, my retune is going to include an adm intake and bo whites tb .. so I cant give you a solid yes or no gain.

Now if I could get in contact with GPI :(

How are the rods attached to the intake? Are they 1/4"?

Plastic weld for the first question. It started off plastic weld back, bolted front, and then went to plastic weld on both sides

I don't think plastic weld is used at all.
Looks like your just heat up the rods and push them into the rear then bolt the front.

Rick said on the g8 forums it used to be like that but then he switched to plastic weld... maybe gpi still does the old (dont know how old) way?
