Noo swear to god I was leaning up against a counter washing my hands in a bathroom near the garage and I heard it start. I thought my friend had started it or something cause we were just about to leave.. I couldn't believe it either so I don't blame you for thinking it sounds kind of.. Creative...

I bought a silicone cover for the remote and it helps but does not eliminate this.

As I continue to develop the catch can key storage idea, wondering if Mr. Stacy will help us out in the event that GM voids our warranty because we used a catch can to store ignition parts? Thoughts?

I'm starting to think GM needs a catch can for their warranty dept. so they can filter out all those stupid ideas about catch cans. Maybe it'll help with their longevity

This used to happen to me all of the time. I usually only drive the car once per week, so the trunk was unlocked for days with a grand of audio equipment just waiting to be stolen. I got the double hit relay a few months ago, and it has never unlocked itself since. Worth the money.

There is a different relay you can buy which requires the trunk button to be hit twice in order to open. I only had this happen once in a while if I sat on my key
