We have just over 39K miles on our '13 1LE. It is my daily driver, and we take it on trips (me, wife and the dog). No issues with wet weather traction as long as speeds are kept reasonable with the stock Goodyears. It is in no way special enough to not drive, but as others have said, never had a car that was. The only things that prevent me from using a car when I want is when modifications render the car not much fun to drive on the street (like no A/C or heat, no wipers, no power stearing or brakes, etc).

Completely agree.

I drive it pretty hard some days too... and I know people say those P-Zeros suck. But I don't ever have issues with them except when they are extremely cold. Most of the time.., even in heavy rain. Mine does not slip or slide.

The only times I don't drive it is if there is hail in the area, cause ragtop + hail = insurance claim, and I'd just rather not do that.

Outside of that... I drive it whenever I can. Hell, I bought it and drove it home in arguably the heaviest downpour we've had since that day... so I kind of feel like she was made to drive in the rain.

Here you will get these answers.
1 Driving in the rain will ruin your car instantly, or requires a 40 hour under carrige detail.

2. If you are not using your splitter to plow snow with your 700+ rwhp car on Goodyear F1's, at -15 degrees, while going up hill, there is obviously something very wrong with you.

I'm with you brother, mine has never seen rain as the clean up under the car would take hours. It hard enough to keep it clean on dry roads.

Mine is my DD, so it sees rain. Has for the last 4 days here. I love driving it, and don't mind washing it when needed.

some people show these cars and they have to be very clean. they drive the car too so they are already cleaning it a lot. For some people like me its no different than any classic car. Who you drive your like new 70 Chevelle in the rain. They're not rare and they cost about the same. I bought my car because I wanted a nice new muscle car. I live in the county in NY so The camaro even on studded snows isnt going anywhere. Id be shoveling snow with my windshield. I have a truck for that.

I propose mounting many catch cans on our cars, driving them in the rain, and then using the rain water caught by the cans to wash it....who's in?
