Until other people pay my car note, I don't care if they say "it's just a V6." 95% of the people who say that, own the POS escort which is 3 different colors parked next to mine. Be proud you own a nice car.

I have a base V6 and I would never badge it as a V8 or higher line model. That's just stupid. However, I'm not opposed to people adding the appearance upgrades of those higher line models like wheels, spoilers and hood scoops.

Posers listen up.......this guy has it going on. Your right ....mod it as you like but dont pretend to be something your not.....im a V8 owner and wouldn't even think of putting ZL1 bag on my car......maybe pose down with some RS badges.....interesting. I wonder what that would make me.

I really like my 1LS V6 M6. It was the color and interior I wanted and I love the steel wheels. For me it was a bargain and plenty of power. I think some of these folks let others opinions get to them. Reminds me of when I was road racing a turbo PT Cruiser. The Corvette guys hate my buddy and I. He asked why and they simply stated how much they had spent on their cars and we spent so little and kept up with them for the most part. I could kinda understand that, but others cannot.

Years ago when I had my '69 Z/28 a friend of mine knew someone who had just purchased a "Z/28" and wanted to have him bring it over for me to see. He brought his '69 "Z" over and I could see it wasn't a Z/28 before he shut the car off. The car was clean, freshly painted with homemade Z/28 badges. IIRC it had a 350 under the hood. I told the owner it was nice but it isn't a real Z/28. The owner was happy with his car and didn't seem to mind that it wasn't real. Guess that's all that matters.

I'm putting 'Gremlin' badges on mine.

Probably do the gas door as well...

I on the other hand have been very fond of the earlier Camaro striped badge on the 3rd gens. With the new Gen 6 out now - I went ahead and added the Gen 6 Camaro badge next to RS which I felt belonged in my opinion. Wasn't sure on placement and whether it should've gone on the far left drivers side or leave it where it is. For now I'm okay with it.

I love those old school, 3 bar emblems as well. I would put it on the other side though, looks a little busy next to the RS. JMHO

They aren't harming anyone, unlike the potential you have using your phone to take pictures while driving.
Well, it has happened people are fooled with these so-called "Z-Builds"....Someone unfamiliar with all the details can get scammed...So I'd say the potential for harm does exist with fraudulent selling...

Used, first time Camaro buyers need to do their homework as fake "Z-builds" do exist and are sold as such...

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking the same as well at times. What is the best way to remove an emblem? Do I use a fishing line and work my way behind it or do I use something else? Would love to reuse the same adhesive behind it but know that won't be possible. I have another emblem as a backup I could use.
