There is NO way I'd put 87 in the car under any circumstances. I use 94 up here in Canada. If you only have 91 look at picking up a bit of Torco to mix in to get 93 or higher. It makes a huge difference.

I was running what was advertised as 92 octane gas from some off brand station. My engine pinged, when I let out the clutch constantly. It also didnt have the "punch" it used to when I attempted to accelerate hard. Went back to the name brand Sunoco 93, and what a difference. Unfortunately this stuff is a dollar more per gallon than regular 87. Got to pay to play.
