Ok stupid questions here, but did they have fans on the intercooler and under the car so that the turbos could get fresh air?

What are you guys doing for proper crankcase evacuation? We have the correct system designed just for the turbo systems. These provide constant evacuation of all of the damaging contaminates and always pull suction on the crankcase for no pressure VS venting that does not evacuation and leaves all of the damaging compounds to remain in the crankcase accumulating in the oil.

This will keep the engine alive longer and eliminates the oil ingestion as well as meets emissions compliance. Your investing a ton in these builds, do the small cost of a proper system to take care of the engine.

AGP has a system that came with the kit, it works quite well.

Don't do the CAI.

Do Meth if IATs are an issue, but the CAI is not the solution to that. CAI is simply for people who want noise at the cost of money/power.

AGP no longer includes the PCV system with the kits, as most people already had a setup, and didn't want/need it, but their system works great. If not using their system, get a Mighty Mouse setup.

IAT's are very good, so the only reason I was thinking of doing the CAI was so I could run my car through a car wash. I like getting an under body wash. So having the filters behind the fender well appeals to me. Still that's an upgrade for another time, I'll be hand washing it till then, or not using the under body wash.

I got the AGP PCV system, and I plan on keeping that setup.

I doubt the car wash would hurt or effect anything. Filters would have to be submerged to have an issue. Spraying them with a hose won't hurt anything.

Talked to Matt today, the harness on the passengers side is melted pretty good, so they are sourcing the new part now. He said of the 4 to 5 AGP turbo cars that he has pulled the engine on, its been a problem for all of them. He will replace it and reroute it behind the manifold. For anybody that has the kit, its something worth checking.

Me too, its pretty cool knowing that Matt has my interests looked out for.

So I made the decision today, to upgrade to the larger intercooler. I don't want to hold up the installation, so if they have put the bumper on, ill just let the new intercooler sit in the garage and wait till I get the car home.
