Z/28 Brake lines Help Needed!!!
Hello I'm in need of help .
I own a 2013 1LE and just bought a complete set of the Z/28 Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes (Rotors, Calipers, Brake pads)they come with brake lines but it looks like they cut the brake lines. My question is Are there any aftermarket companies making upgraded brake likes for the Z/28 like flex lines, braided stainless lines etc? Will I still be able to re use the current lines ? And if not how much are the 4 brake lines ? |

Any details about the car this full set came off of? If you dont mind me asking, how much did they run you?
. As of now, there is not an aftermarket company doing lines. I am sure you can pick up a new set from the dealership or piece together a set via Jegs.

The Z/28 calipers front and rear are similar /same castings to the ZL1/Corvette Z06 6 piston calipers which use a longer front brake line than your SS/1LE as the line attaches near the bottom of the caliper when mounted on the car.
On the front they cut the metal or body side brake line. From the picture you can reuse the front. The rear line, for some dumb reason, they cut the rubber line. The rears are a 4 piston cast caliper similar to all ZL1/SS rear, your stock SS/1LE lines "should" work. This should be an easy and straight forward swap. Matt
