Is my warranty expired?
I am having misfire issues and was wondering if my car is still under warranty. I checked on the Chevrolet website is says expired 1/07/2016 but in grey print it says 7 months left?
Car is in a dealership and they said my warranty expired so I have to pay $450 just to break down the engine and see what's wrong. Last edited by kazperking; 06-06-2016 at 12:46 PM. |

Print it and show them. Make a couple up and keep in your glove box. Those extras will come in handy when they say they dont have a copy of. Also not sure if its a good idea putting your vin for other people to see.

So does the warranty start when the first person buys the car or when it leaves manufacture company?
I was just curious why it says my warranty has 7 months left but it expired 1/7/2016 |

What I would is talke to the manager. Not parts department. Find the salesperson and or manager you saw. I know its a few years later. But finding one of those guys might help. Show them you might be interested in another Vehicle soon. Play them as they play us. Its say 7 months remaining.

Starts on the day the first owner tskes possession, othewise known as in service date. It also goes on miles, how many miles on the car?

Printing something off the internet isn't going to help it be under a warranty. If the dealer says it's out, it's out. I can check the warranty if thiggin can't help you.

I work at a dealership. I have access to all warranty info (Global Warranty Management). Its not just printing something off the internet.
