V6 Camaro owners are the Vegans of the car world.

Only except just shouting to everyone why their choice is a better one, they mod their engines for more power and turn them into SS/ZL1/Z28/1LE "clones" while doing it.

I mean, why try to make your car look like a higher tier model of you are so proud? I don't get it.

more then half v6 owners could not afford the v8.. at the time.. i have been told this by v6 owners them selfs and they try to dress it up as best they can when they have the money.. i dont find anything wrong with it.. what i dont like is when they start saying its a DD and then add a super charger.. and how they did not want leather and then add leather.. but i get that also a little people dont like to say they cant afford something.. i have never met anyone looking to buy a sports car and did not want a v8. not looking to start a fight here with anyone just saying what i have seen and what has be told to me thats all

Well comments like yours is why V6 owners have to get defensive.. Calling us Vegans of the car world did not help your argument one bit.
Ask yourself why have people with SS models upgraded to ZL1 or Z28 components (spoilers, Splitters, hoods, suspension, superchargers)? Same difference. So V6 people are not the only ones doing it...

A V8 would be at least $32K+ for a base 1SS and a stock Mustang GT can beat it and the new 6th gen Camaro "V8" is even faster still. If going fast was all I cared about, I'd get an old 3rd or 4th gen and mod the silly crap out of it.

With a few mods running E85 on a Overkill tune, the V6 is capable of up to 320 rwhp. Derek proved that with his V6 pulling an impressive 316 rwhp. A few minor mods here and there, he will be at "V8" power levels with his little "V6". That's pretty darn impressive in my book.

Mod with no warranty verses stock with warranty, never gets old. You also need to add some suspension/brake/cosmetic mods as well.

i have seen ss guys try to turn there cars into a ZL1 OR a Z28 also.. i am sure some people think thats wrong also.. at the end of the day alot of people turn there cars into something its not.. i like when people make it there own
