Smile Sto N Sho Front Plate Bracket

Of course I don't run a front plate. I've been looking at the Sto N Sho from Big Mike's Performance Parts as a possibility to store in the trunk in case I get busted. Has anyone used one and how do you like it?

It's o.k....but in the "sto" position the plate will scrape as it reduces the ground clearance a little. Neat accessory for the most part.

3m 10lb double sided tape works great. In Ohio ticket is $186 for no front plate.

front plate

Having a front plate sucks but if you just mount the plate without a bracket like I did then it doesn't look too bad. If Ohio ever does away with the front plate like they've talked about I can just buy a new grille.

Thanks for the responses guys, I went ahead and ordered the Sto and Sho. I like the fact that I don't have to drill any holes to install it, and it appears that ground clearance won't be affected unless I run the front plate. Granted, it is a $200 dollar fine in Texas if I have the misfortune of getting a ticket. In that regard, I've owned three Corvettes and a Lexus vert without front plates and haven't busted yet, so I'll keep the plate in the trunk and plead forgetfulness if I get stopped.

License Plate

I have the Aguilar Eliminator bracket on my 1LE. It allows you to just snap the license plate on or off in 1 second. No holes to drill and does't extend below your splitter.

I carry the plate in the trunk.

Peebles, Ohio about 60 miles east of Cincinnati. I haven't ran into any besides ones I've seen at dealers. That's the things I really love about the car is the rarity and cool factor
