Lol i thought i was the only one that named my gps.. I named mine Issac.

I think Miles would be a good name for gps.

My dad named it Martha cause everytime she says recalculating it sounds like she is scolding him for missing the turn.

HAHAHA, we named our Clarise (Silence of the Lambs) she was just the creepiest thing in the car, would speak randomly and try and have us make "illegal u-turn in 100 ft" EVERYWHERE...

All this GPS talk makes me think a GPS thread with the pros and cons of the various models is in order.

As for the name thing, I never actually named mine, just always called it "Girl"

Can you imagine a GM navigation system with Fbodfather's voice?

"Don't make that turn or I will send the Suburbans after you and you will be joining Shunt"

"Have faith and I will get you there"

Carey the Camaro? To go along with Silvia the Silverado; and Katie the Caddilac. Maybe a little Billy the Bridge and Larry the Ladder in there too.

Name of New Camaro

Not sure what I will name my new Camaro but my 80Z and 91Z had the license plates CAMZ. My nickname for the 80Z was the Nickle and Dime Machine.

Since my name is Kolby maybe I'll call it Cheezy?

When I get a CAMARO DEMO - She will be CHRISTINE.

Because NOTHING but a CAMARO could be as BADAZZ as a car from a Steven King movie!

Only named one of my cars, that was my '94 Firebird and to tell you the truth I mainly just called it my baby or just baby. Not that I think there is anything wrong with naming a car. I just believe that the car should be worthy, doesn't make much sense to name a cavalier. Not that there is anything wrong with the cavalier, but you don't hear many people talking about how their cavalier is the greatest car ever. Something I think many people feel about the Camaro. As seen in this thread everyone takes great pride and time in naming their car, therefore before they choose to take the time to name it, they must take the same pride in their car. That's why many people don't name their cars. So I have been thinking long and hard about the name for my newest addition.

I've always referred to my cars as women for whatever reason. I've never had names that really stuck to the cars though. I guess I just like to try to treat and take care of my cars like I try to take care of my woman. She hates my Camaro though; she gets jealous, LOL.
